About Jillian;
AEA Actor - Director - Educator
I was raised in southeastern Florida by northeastern parents. As a young girl, I enjoyed re-imagining scenes from my most favorite films, and dancing ballet, tap and jazz. After graduating from high school, I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida for Theatre Arts. I then earned my MFA with the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, Florida, wherein my final year of training brought opportunities to study abroad in London, UK, take a production on tour, and work alongside professional actors on a LORT-B stage.
Since moving to New York City, I have worked with Spit&Vigor Theatre Company, premiering Off Broadway in January of 2022 in Sara Fellini's Ectoplasm at The Player's Theatre, directing two of their small blackbox plays (Marooned! and Gone Away), and returning once again to The Player's for their production of Blood Countess.
In 2021, I joined Hamlet Isn't Dead in their Resident Acting Company, and performed in their main stage productions of Macbeth, All's Well That Ends Well, Othello, and Cymbeline. I have also partnered with them to facilitate workshops which focus on voice and speech and examining text. In Fall 2024, I had the privilege to Assistant Direct their production of Pericles, Prince of Tyre, and in Spring of 2025 I directed a one-act version of As You Like It for one night of their four night series -- For Bard's Sake.
I am a proud member of Actor's Equity Association, and am open to work and finding representation!
