About Jillian;
AEA Actor - Director - Educator
I grew up in southeastern Florida. As a young girl, I enjoyed re-imagining scenes from my most favorite films, and dancing ballet, tap and jazz. After graduating from high school, I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida for Theatre Arts. I then earned my MFA with the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, Florida, which provided the opportunity to study with Patsy Rodenburg and Charmian Hoare in London in the summer of 2019.
Since moving to New York City, I have worked with Spit&Vigor Theatre Company, premiering Off Broadway in January of 2022 in Sara Fellini's Ectoplasm at The Player's Theatre, directing two of their small blackbox plays (Marooned! and Gone Away), and returning once again to The Player's for their production of Blood Countess.
I have also joined Hamlet Isn't Dead in their Resident Acting Company, performing in their main stage productions (Macbeth, All's Well That Ends Well, and Othello); facilitating workshops focusing on voice and speech as well as text work; and Assistant Directing their upcoming performances of Pericles, Prince of Tyre.
