About Jillian;

Actor - Director - Educator

Jillian grew up in southeastern Florida. From a young age she enjoyed re-imagining scenes from her most favorite films, and dancing ballet, tap and jazz. After graduating from high school, she attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida for Theatre Arts. She then earned her MFA with the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, Florida, which provided the opportunity to study with Patsy Rodenburg and Charmian Hoare in London in the summer of 2019. 

Since moving to New York, Jillian joined Hamlet Isn't Dead in their Resident Acting Company, performing Shakespeare's Sonnets at New York Botanical Gardens, performing at the Center at West Park in their productions of "MacBeth" and "All's Well That Ends Well," and appeared as Petruchio in their production of "Shrew You!" at the Little Shakespeare Festival hosted by Frigid New York at UNDER St. Mark's Theatre. She also jointly teaches monthly workshops as one of their teaching artists in areas of text analysis and voice and speech for the stage.

 

Jillian has also partnered with Spit & Vigor Theatre Company, debuting Off-Broadway in Sara Fellini's "Ectoplasm" at the Player's Theatre in their Winter of 2021/22 season, directing and performing for their play series "Marooned!" later in August 2022, and returned with them to the Player's Theatre in Winter of 2022/23 as The Horned Woman in Kelleen Conway Blanchard's "Blood Countess".
